Say What ! Two blogs in one week... I told you I would be more inclined to do this. Hey we have a great new event for all of you in Tucson. Please check it out on the event page. US Loco's know how this holiday maybe a little different rough with all the things we are committed to. However we expect this to be a great event with the Mercado and we would like all of you to stop by even if its just to say HI ! Lil Loco may even be there Christmas Eve ect papa's patience permitting. lol

Yes its been 5 long months since I have bloged. Why??? Busy, that is why. Chile Fest 08 was beyond compare. Were there people??? YES! Did Pedro almost get killed going back to NM for Ristras between late Saturday and early Sunday ??? YES! I have to say this though, the staff that worked with us those two days were just unbelievable. When I got back that Sunday morning they were like a pit crew to me, hydrating and encouraging me to carry on throughout the day. Now I haven't been sleeping the past five months I promise. I have been thinking and changing.

To let all now know that Chile's are the full time operation now. Chiles Chiles Chiles... Oh Sorry sometimes I get so happy about that I get into a loop :-)

We now offer free shipping on all domestic web orders ! Loco indeed you say, but its true. As I head into a new busy season I am also looking to take on the task of another Chile Chile Chile (Sorry did it again) shop. We will see but I'm trying.

Little loco ( Lily ) is doing well in school and Johanna is hanging in there. Little loco had a pajama party @ her school and asked me to give them all chiles ! We settled on the New Pineapple/Mango salsa and chips for them. :-) 

I promise I won't be a stranger anymore and blog more often.

So sitting on our favorite bench we have decided to do Chile Fest 08. The fresh ristra season will be upon us before we know it. Food Venders, Chile roasting, Live Music and all around great fun. Dates to be September 27th, 28th !!! Mark this down now !!! We are dubbing this "Ristra Madness" as these TRI-COLOR Ristras you can only get through us. Soon we will be devoting and entire part of our online store for you to order these terrific items that are only available for a short time. You will be able to "Pre Order" Ristras with them shipping starting in Mid September. This is due to the very high demand last year plus the multiple request we have already had this year.  More details to follow on our even page!!!

Pedro Buys A Bag

After always reading about how green we all should become. I have bought a bag, a man purse if you will. This has cut down on my plastic bags and better for the environment. Right?

Well strange how almost every man who looks in my direction thinks I'm nuts. Most women think "its cute" but I'm just trying to do my part in this LOCO world. At the store we have decided to go to strictly paper bag products when we can!!!! Its so Green, just like this blog. Adios for now!!!

The Lil loco's T-Ball Team is getting more focused but Lil is less focused as ever. She's 5 and sings in the outfield and just lets the ball go by. She could be the loco-est of them all I say. Ta Ta for now... Pedro

Notice!!!

El Chile's website has been dealing with shipping issues that are now worked out. It was tough, but we overcame. The website would not charge the right amounts but that has since been changed. Plus the waits are over we will be shipping out orders ASAP. As opposed to the previous 1-2 week wait. Thank You USPS for the flat rate boxes. YEA!!!

OK here we go guys and dolls. This is the launch of our new website and online store. Both Johanna and I are excited, scared and just plain Loco to be doing this. Hey I'm not the one to blame here; you that's right You Are :-)

You asked for it every day, people say " Hey can we get this stuff online? " I used to have to bow my head and reply " Sorry this store was made on a whim ( and a Loco prayer ) we don't even have a business card yet :-( " So we still don't have the cards but the online store is launched and will be improving all the time. I've talked to Johanna and 

have offered to, well actually she demanded I quit having siesta's and work on it.

 I want you all to know you soon will be seeing and have the chance to purchase El Chile Loco T-Shirts. We also will be having contest and giving some away. Don't tell Johanna because I didn't even tell her yet. But its a "Pedro Promise" Plus I think we will be announcing some big and I mean BIG plans soon in our events section. So look out because once Johanna and I start talking on the bench great things are sure to arise.
